PyDev
I just got PyDev loaded into eclipse. It is glorious. No more dancing between editors. The syntax highlighting is perfect so far. Should I bother using Jython? I am not sure it does anything I need. In fact, what exactly is Jython good for? Running python when you don't have an interpreter (but have a JavaVM)? I assume it is no faster and probably slower than just using the interpreter? Does it help one interweave python and java code? It might be nice, just for novelty, to make a project in Cocoa with PyObj and use Java and python as well. And C++. It would just be amusing.
